Engaging the quality assessment of training program on international standard will helps Vietnamese universities to realize their strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, they will be able to step into the integration road. Students can meet in the global labor market.
With the above objectives, Faculty of Electrical Engineering has gradually built and strived to reach the AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance) standard, aims to achieve ABET standard for future training programs. With AUN, quality is considered as an essential target to state globally about the integration of education in South-East Asia, on the other hand, it also creates connection and multual recognition among universities in ASEAN.
With above target, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering approached to AUN-QA standard and then, AUN specialized teams were established on 30/01/2015 to carry on self-assessment and change of thinking, management method, traning activities according to AUN-QA standard. The Faculty of Electrical Engineering issued a self-assessment report on the program of Electrical and Electronic Engineering on AUN-QA Standard on 29/6/2015. This is a milestone marking the development of the Faculty in approaching international standards.
With the active preparation of the Faculty, University of Science and Technology has assigned the Faculty of Electrical Engineering to implement the AUN-QA standard’s criterias for all training program and to strive to meet AUN-QA standards for the program of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in April 2017.
